Experts have said the current targets are too low, just as the government has start to meet them

It’s not often the government decides it won’t try to block an opposition party motion in the Dáil, especially one lambasting its own policy.

Yet that’s exactly what happened on Wednesday morning, when the government decided not to oppose a Labour Party motion critiquing the government’s housing targets as too low and its housing policy as too weak.
