SBP editorial: Nama not the fix for broken housing system

Another week, and another proposal to help remedy Ireland’s housing and homelessness crisis.

The latest offering came from Leo Varadkar at the Fine Gael think-in in Mullingar, where the Taoiseach suggested that Nama could be repurposed “to develop lands on behalf of the state, to step in where the private sector has failed”.
