Volume of contactless payments hits three million a day – report

The volume of contactless payments here hit three million a day in the first three months of this year, according the latest Payments Monitor from the Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI).

Contactless payments rose by 17.6 per cent year-on-year to 268.7 million in the first three months of this year, the report found.
