A one day strike by thousands of public sector workers in Northern Ireland is due to bring major disruption today.

Up to 170,000 workers from 17 unions from nurses to civil servants, transport staff, and teachers are due to walk out today in coordinated action over pay.

The day of protest has been billed by unions as Northern Ireland’s biggest strike in over 50 years.
