Two in three surveyed believe disposable income will fall this year

Two thirds of people believe their discretionary disposable income will fall over the next six months, most likely due to an expectation of increased costs as a result of rising prices, according to new research from RedC.

The polling firm’s quarterly consumer mood monitor found that just 8 per cent of people expect their discretionary disposable income to increase in the first half of this year.
