Trinity identifies AI as major threat to academic integrity

University officials say speed of technological advances could make current technology obsolete and create new costs

Trinity College Dublin has listed artificial intelligence (AI) as a key risk to academic integrity, the Business Post has learned.

The country’s oldest university has privately warned that the “unfettered” use of AI or other “disruptive technology” by staff and students poses a significant risk to its operations in the coming year.
