Muriel Thornton, who ran the eponymous Michelin-starred restaurant on St Stephen’s Green with her husband Kevin, has said the couple have “absolutely no regrets” about closing it.

The space in the Fitzwillam Hotel which previously operated as Thornton’s, and which has been empty since the Thorntons pulled the plug in 2016,will reopen on February 2 as Glovers Alley.
