Taoiseach to discuss support for Ukraine with EU leaders in Paris

Leo Varadkar will meet with other EU leaders today in Paris to discuss support for Ukraine, two years on from the Russian invasion.

Announcing the special meeting at the Elysée Palace, Emmanuel Macron, president of France, demanded a “collective leap forward” from his European counterparts in their opposition to what he termed a “change in posture” from Russia in recent weeks.
