Author of Garda whistleblower report to counter Shatter’s successful challenge to findings
The Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal by barrister Seán Guerin against Alan Shatter’s successful challenge to his report on the former minister’s handling of complaints by whistleblower Sergeant Maurice McCabe.
In a recent decision granting leave to appeal, the court found the proceedings were a matter of public importance.
