The government has hired a high-profile lobbying team in Brussels and London in its bid to lure the European Medicines Agency (EMA) to Ireland.

It has appointed Hume Brophy, a public affairs firm founded by son of former SDLP leader John Hume, as the battle intensifies to secure the EMA when it leaves London after Brexit.
