Software giant Qualtrics to cut 780 jobs worldwide, staff in Ireland notified

Firm employs around 400 people in Ireland and plans to redefine or relocate hundreds of roles in the coming months

Qualtrics has announced plans to cut 780 roles worldwide and relocate hundreds of employees citing complexity arising from recent “rapid hiring” at the US-based software company.

Staff in Ireland were informed of the changes on Wednesday.

In an email to employees, Zig Serafin, chief executive of Qualtrics, said the company had made the “difficult decision” to eliminate 780 roles across the company, amounting to almost 15 per cent of the firm’s 5,500 global workforce.
