Social housing bodies register record year of delivery in 2022

A new report from the Irish Council for Social Housing has shown that its members now control a combined 55,000 homes

Approved housing bodies (AHBs) provided a record number of social homes and cost rental homes in 2022, delivering almost 5,000 new units in the 12-month period.

The new Housing Association Activity Report published by the Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH) has shown that due to the record level of delivery, the sector’s overall property portfolio grew by 10 per cent.
