RTÉ could owe millions to Revenue over mismanaged employment practices

RTÉ could face “tens of millions of euros” in further liabilities over mismanaged employment practices, the Oireachtas public accounts committee has concluded.
The committee has today published an examination of public funds used by RTÉ following a near nine-month review of the national broadcaster.
The report assessed specific six issues that arose from meetings with RTÉ executives, including undeclared payments to Ryan Tubridy and the broadcaster’s use of a barter account.
