RTÉ board member PJ Mathews resigns
The announcement was made following a “positive” meeting with minister Catherine Martin.
RTÉ board member PJ Mathews has announced his resignation.
In a statement, RTÉ said that Mathews was stepping down after almost ten years on the board due to “work commitments”.
Mathews is an associate professor in the school of English, drama and film at UCD, specialising in Irish literature and culture.
