Report: Medicine shortages impact 60% of Irish people

Research by Amárach consulting has found that 6 in 10 people in Ireland are being impacted by medicine shortages.

The latest Medicines Shortages Index, organised by Azure Pharmaceuticals, found that 289 medicines were out of stock, a new high. This is up from 247 in February.

Medicines out of stock included aspiring, blood pressure and high cholesterol treatment medications, eye drops and depression medicines.
