Altering flight paths of Dublin Airport’s new north runway to avoid disturbing 30,000 residents in nearby towns is “complex, complicated” and would require “significant” changes to existing rules, DAA has said.

Proposals presented to Dublin Airport bosses – to avoid planes taking off from the new north runway from flying over major towns like Ashbourne and Ratoath – have been ignored, it has been claimed.
