Profits fall at Origin Enterprises amid challenging weather and market conditions

Origin Enterprises, the Dublin-listed agri-services group, has announced an annual fall of 37.4 per cent in profits, citing challenging northern hemisphere weather conditions and market dynamics as its underlying business volumes declined.

Announcing its half-year results to the end of January, Origin reported an operating profit of €12.7 million, down from €20.3 million for the six months to January 2023.
