Power Capital secures €125m to fund solar projects in Ireland

Funding has been jointly provided by AIB and La Banque Postale for projects in Cork, Louth, Meath and Wexford

Power Capital Renewable Energy, an Irish solar farm developer, has secured €125 million in funding to support solar projects in counties Cork, Louth, Meath and Wexford.

The funding has been jointly provided by AIB and La Banque Postale.

It follows the Dublin-based renewables business securing funding of €240 million earlier this year from a group of backers that included the European Investment Bank.
