Pinergy cuts prices but wholesale electricity costs remain high

Pinergy is to cut the cost of its standard residential electricity prices, the company said on Monday.

The new prices, which the company said will result in a 9.5 per cent drop in the typical household cost, will come into effect in October. it will mean households save approximately €220 per annum.
