PayPal to cut up to 205 jobs at Irish arm

PayPal has proposed cutting more than 200 jobs at its Irish workforce in its latest global round of job cuts.

It comes as the payments firm announced plans to reduce its global headcount by 9 per cent, which equates to roughly 2,500 jobs, earlier this week.

Staff at its Irish operation – which employs more than 1,600 people – were notified of the plans today.
