Paschal Donohoe and Heather Humphreys have said they will not be putting their names forward for the Fine Gael leadership, leaving the way clear for Simon Harris.

Humphreys, the minister for social protection, backed Harris for the role, adding to a growing list of Fine Gael parliamentary party members that have declared their support for the 37-year old higher education minister.
