Operating profit at Aldi Ireland down 45% as company eyes Dublin expansion

Company’s turnover in Ireland grew by 1 per cent to just over €2 billion in 2021

Operating profits at Aldi Ireland fell 44.8 per cent to €39.8 million last year, as Covid-19 continued to impact the retailer.

It comes as the company announced a €73 million expansion plan for Dublin.
