One in ten Nama debtors bankrupt

Some 92 of Nama’s debtors, or 10 per cent of the total, have declared bankruptcy in Ireland, Britain or the US.

In response to a parliamentary question, Minister for Finance Michael Noonan said that 20 developers had been declared bankrupt in Ireland since Nama was set up in 2009, with 70 made bankrupt in Britain and the North, and a further two in the US.
