M&S to focus on ‘right stores in the right places’ as it shuts Drogheda and Clarion Quay shops

The retailer said that footfall and sales had declined in the two locations

Retailer M&S is shutting its Drogheda and Clarion Quay locations as sales dwindled and footfall declined.

Staff were informed of the decisions this morning with 57 employees in the Drogheda store set to lose their jobs, along with the 19 employed in the foodhall at Clarion Quay.
