Ireland has placed itself on the “world stage” when it comes to artificial intelligence, Mary Snapp, the vice president of strategic initiatives at Microsoft has said.

“The industry here, the attraction of foreign investment and the ability of Ireland, enables it to really be a leader across the EU, US and around the world,” she said at the Digital Ireland Conference in Dublin on Thursday.
