Ireland’s manufacturing sector is the “main drag” on the overall private sector, new data from AIB has shown.

The latest Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) released by the bank has shown that business activity in the country’s services sector recorded another “marked improvement” in June and outperformed the May readings for other major advanced economies.
