The government is facing calls to amend legislation to allow joint account holders fuller access to the financial ombudsman.

Ged Nash, the Labour finance spokesman, said the government should look to change the law to allow joint account holders who are currently precluded, in many instances, from bringing complaints to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (FSPO).
