Jonathan Hill to step down as FAI chief

He will depart from the role at the end of April after months of controversy surrounding his pay

Jonathan Hill, the chief executive officer of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI), is to leave the association at the end of the month.

Hill, who succeeded John Delaney as permanent chief executive in November 2020, will leave the association on April 30, with the announcement of an interim chief and the search for a permanent replacement imminent.
