Job openings drop 17% in September

New research shows a 2 per cent quarter-on-quarter decrease in job postings in Q3 - despite ‘robust’ demand for talent in tech sector

Those scouring the job market experienced a 16.7 per cent decline in openings in September, according to a report from Morgan McKinley, the recruitment firm, while demand for talent “remains robust” in the technology sector despite layoffs.

The Quarterly Employment Monitor from Morgan McKinley showed national job opportunities fell 2 per cent in the third quarter.
