Troubled firm Solar 21 has avoided defending an application for the appointment of inspectors after the High Court heard it resolved the matter on confidential terms.

Solar 21, which owes investors around €250 million, was facing a High Court application for the appointment of inspectors to investigate how the money it raised from the public was spent.
