Investors including the Edge put €2.6 million into ticket tech firm

Coras founder Mark McLaughlin

Several Irish investors have pumped €2.6 million into a ticket sales technology company founded by Mark McLaughlin, including U2’s the Edge and recruitment tycoon Anne Heraty.

The company, Coras, raised the bulk of the money from two Dublin-based venture capital firms. It will go towards developing an app that allows users to buy travel and event tickets on a single platform, described by McLaughlin as “a Nasdaq for tickets”.
