Enterprise minister should take control of tourism brief, industry body says

A report from the ITIC said the government’s labour policy would cost the industry an additional €1.4 billion in payroll between now and 2026

The ITIC said the Department of Enterprise would be a ‘much better fit’ for the tourism brief

The new taoiseach should move the tourism brief to the Department of Enterprise, led by Simon Coveney, according to a report from an industry body.

The report from the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) proposed moving the brief from the department led by Catherine Martin to the enterprise department.
