Icon shares soar as it posts double digit profit growth for the first half of 2023

The Dublin-headquartered contract research giant employs more than 41,000 people around the world today

Icon plc, the Dublin-headquartered contract research giant, recorded double-digit profit growth for the first half of the year on the back of increased contract wins. The company, which is listed on the US stock market, posted a 17 per cent increase in half year earnings (Ebitda) to just under $815 million, as margins expanded to a very strong 20 per cent.
