High Court judge rejects all Ammi Burke’s claims over recusal

Ammi Burke’s attempt to have a High Court judge recuse herself has been refused, with the judge saying there is no objective argument that she is not impartial.

Ms Justice Marguerite Bolger said in a judgment delivered on Wednesday morning that she did not believe a “reasonable bystander informed of the relevant facts” would conclude that she could not hear the case “objectively and impartially”.
