Eamon Ryan, the transport minister, has hit back at Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary, accusing the airline chief executive of being “personally abusive”.

O’Leary, the chief executive at Ryanair Group, last week branded Ryan as “incompetent” and an “idiot” and called on him to resign over his opposition to raising the cap on passenger numbers at Dublin Airport.
