Glenveagh’s Ronan case runs out of road
Bitter row over costs in battle over exclusive south Dublin site
Publicly quoted homebuilder Glenveagh Properties has been forced to admit defeat in a High Court case it took against developer Johnny Ronan over a valuable piece of land in an exclusive south Dublin suburb.
Glenveagh had claimed that it bought the land, adjacent to what was once the Ronan family home, Weston, in Foxrock, in a 2015 deal that saw it snap up a neighbouring property. The company is planning to develop apartments on the site.
