In the 1980s, Irish newspapers gave little space to business stories. The arrival of The Sunday Business Post in 1989 changed all that. Frank Fitzgibbon, one of its founders, tells Tom Lyons how the new business paper revolutionised the industry

Frank Fitzgibbon remembers being so exhausted after the first few editions of The Sunday Business Post that he decided that everybody should take a week off after its first Christmas. “Everyone was absolutely out on their feet after about five weeks. We used to work right through to about 4am on Saturday morning. It was horrendous,” he recalled.
