EU leaders have made a last-minute offer to Hungary’s prime minister Viktor Orbán in a bid to secure his support for the bloc’s €50 billion financial aid to Ukraine ahead of this week’s summit.

The Financial Times is reporting that there have been “frenzied diplomatic efforts” to reach a deal at a summit of EU leaders on Thursday.
