Paddy Hayes defended ESB’s record profits as households and firms struggle with high energy costs
Paddy Hayes, chief executive of ESB, said new RTÉ board chairman Terence O’Rourke would bring “huge energy” to the role and would be a “real asset” to the beleaguered broadcaster.
O’Rourke, who currently served as the chairman of the ESB and is a former KPMG managing partner, was named as the new leader of the national broadcaster’s board.
