Dublin bus strikes suspended as Go-Ahead agrees to pay talks

Two 24-hour work stoppages were due to take place in March

Go-Ahead operates several key bus routes in Dublin, as well as a small number of routes in surrounding counties.

Two full day strikes of Go-Ahead bus services have been suspended, as the company has agreed to attend a Labour Court hearing.

Two separate 24-hour work stoppages were due to take place on 1 and 8 March, with pickets being placed at the company's depots in Ballymount, Dublin and Naas, Co Kildare. This was in a dispute over pay for workers, with staff saying their salaries have not kept up with inflation.
