Diageo names John Manzoni as new chair
Former senior British civil servant will replace reigning board leader Javier Ferran, who is retiring in February 2025
Diageo has named John Manzoni as its next chair.
He will take over from the current board leader, Javier Ferrán, upon his retirement in 2025.
Manzoni, the current chair of SSE, the energy giant, has been a non-executive director at the Guinness-parent firm since 2020, after leading the British civil service from 2014 to 2020.
