Denis O’Brien has accused Catherine Murphy, the Social Democrats TD, of making “totally false and malicious allegations” about him in the Dáil over his purchase of Siteserv, an industrial and engineering company, in 2012.
The businessman today said Murphy had “contrived a politically motivated campaign of falsehoods and baseless allegations with others for political gain”, and said the commission of investigation’s report into the issue had “completely exonerated” him of any impropriety.
