Dave Calhoun to step down as Boeing boss amid shake up to crisis-hit board

Larry Kellner has said he will not stand for re-election as board chair, while Stan Deal, the group’s commercial chief, will retire immediately

Dave Calhoun, the chief executive and president of Boeing, has announced his decision to step down from the helm of the company at the end of this year.

Board chair Larry Kellner has also informed the board of the company that he does not intend to stand for re-election at the upcoming Annual Shareholder meeting, the aviation company said in a statement.
