D’Arcy defends the government’s track record on insurance

Michael D’Arcy mounted a robust defence of the government’s track record on insurance reform in response to a request that Leo Varadkar or Paschal Donohoe lead a new action plan to tackle excessive premium costs.

The Alliance for Insurance Reform wrote to the Taoiseach in April asking him to draw up a new plan for reforming the sector and said oversight by either Varadkar or Donohoe would be “warmly welcomed”.
