DAA’s 55 million passenger master plan ‘would require McEvaddy land’

Sales brochure for 261 acres valued at around €200 million states the land is in DAA’s shortlisted options to safeguard airport growth but the DAA refuses to say if the land is part of its plans

Dublin Airport’s master plan to grow to 55 million passengers a year requires it to expand and build on lands currently owned by the McEvaddy brothers, according to a sales document for the 261 acres valued at around €200 million.

The airport operator, DAA, has failed to rule out talk that it will seek to purchase the land put up for sale two weeks ago.
