Simon Coveney has said “the timing is right” to convert unused office blocks into apartments as companies downsize and amid the rise in remote working.

The Minister for Enterprise has agreed to set up an inter-departmental group following lobbying from Darragh O’Brien, Minister for Housing, to tackle the housing shortfall.
