Citigroup has announced plans of job cuts in its Dublin office, with 168 roles at risk as part of global cost-cutting measures.

The US banking giant, which has its European headquarters in the Irish capital and employs just under 3,000 people, informed staff of the cuts on Tuesday.

A spokesperson confirmed to the Business Post that 168 roles were at risk across the bank’s operations in Ireland.
