Case against Nama official abandoned

A former Nama official’s criminal prosecution was abandoned after a colleague told gardaí the information he was alleged to have leaked around a £50 million property deal was not sensitive.

Paul Pugh of Clontarf Road, Dublin was due to stand trial in the Circuit Court last February on one count of breaching the 2009 Nama Act.
