Calls grow for end to tax free jet fuel

Fossil fuel subsidies for sectors such as aviation must be unwound as they are the “biggest enemy of a sustainable future”, the head of the International Energy Agency (IEA) has said.

Fatih Birol, the executive director of the IEA, told the Business Post that such subsidies “have to be abolished.”
