Cabinet approves plans to accelerate works on Adare bypass ahead of 2027 Ryder Cup

Bypass is expected to remove 70 to 80 per cent of the traffic currently passing through the town

Cabinet has approved plans to advance the construction of the Adare bypass in Co Limerick ahead of the Ryder Cup in 2027.

The bypass is one element of the Limerick to Foynes Project - a 33 kilometre road connecting Limerick to the port of Foynes.
